About this policy
This policy applies to the public Analytica Research Hub website and the administrative tools used to maintain and publish its content. It explains the information the website processes, why it is used and the choices available to visitors.
You do not need to create a public account to read the website. Administrative accounts are limited to authorised team members and are not visitor accounts.
Information you choose to provide
The public contact route currently provides Analytica's email address and telephone number. If the website enquiry form is made available, it asks for your name, professional email address and a project summary or message. Organisation, country and telephone details are optional. The form also records the enquiry pathway you selected, such as a commission, partnership, research project, publication request or general enquiry.
If you contact Analytica by email or telephone, the information you provide is also handled through the communication service you choose to use.
Enquiries and private Gallery comments
Information submitted through an available enquiry form is kept as a private operational record so the team can assess and respond to the request. A reference number is returned when a submission is accepted.
The Gallery comment form uses the same private enquiry channel. It asks for a name, email address and comment, and includes the photograph context needed by the team to understand the note. Gallery comments are not public posts and are not displayed on the website.
Website and security information
When an enquiry is submitted, the application reads source network information supplied with the request to limit repeated submissions and protect the service from abuse. The application converts that information into a pseudonymous security value before storing an intake-attempt record. The raw network address is not placed in the enquiry record by the application.
Short-lived intake-attempt records expire after the rate-limit window. A pseudonymous security value can remain with an accepted enquiry to support abuse prevention and operational review. The website also uses request-size limits, server-side validation, trusted-origin checks and automated anti-spam controls.
Operational and security records are designed to contain event names, outcomes, timestamps, correlation references and limited actor or record identifiers. The application does not log full enquiry messages or request bodies by default and redacts configured sensitive fields. Content Security Policy reports sent to this website are bounded and discarded rather than retained.
Gallery choices and browser storage
Gallery love and save controls store the identifiers of selected photographs in your browser's local storage. These choices are not linked to a public account and are not submitted to Analytica's server. You can remove an individual choice with the same control or clear the website's stored data through your browser settings.
Local storage is not a cookie. Gallery choices remain in that browser until you remove them or clear its site data.
How information is used
Analytica uses information processed through the website to:
- receive, assess and respond to enquiries and private Gallery notes;
- route a request to the appropriate authorised team member or operational system;
- protect the website, investigate failures and prevent misuse;
- maintain accountable editorial and administrative activity; and
- operate, test and improve the reliability of the website.
Enquiry information is not used for unrelated marketing without separate authority.
Cookies and similar technologies
The public website does not use advertising or marketing cookies. Gallery choices use local storage as described above, not cookies. When production website analytics is enabled, the public pages may load the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon to provide aggregate information about visits, page views, page performance, referring sites, countries, device types, browsers and operating systems.
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for usage measurement and is not used by Analytica to identify named visitors or build individual profiles. It is disabled in local development, automated tests, previews, staging and the content administration area.
Necessary cookies are used for authorised content-management sign-in and session functions. These cookies are configured with appropriate same-site handling and secure handling in production. An authorised preview link can also set a short-lived, HTTP-only, same-site cookie so an editor can inspect a specific draft. These administrative cookies are not used to build visitor advertising profiles.
Third-party services
The website may rely on service providers that support hosting, databases, protected media, communications or other necessary operations. Such providers process information only for the service they provide and under their own applicable terms and privacy practices. This policy will be updated if a provider materially changes the information practices described here.
If production analytics is activated, aggregate website measurement is available to authorised Analytica administrators through Cloudflare's Web Analytics dashboard. Analytica does not copy individual browsing records into its website database.
Email, telephone and external website links take you to services outside this website. Those services may process information according to their own policies.
Connected social publishing services
If an authorised Analytica administrator connects a supported third-party social publishing service, such as LinkedIn, the site may process the account, organisation or page identifiers, authorisation credentials or tokens, and publishing information needed to provide that feature. The integration is intended only for authorised administrators publishing Analytica-approved content.
Ordinary website visitors are not authenticated through LinkedIn. Gallery activity and other visitor browsing information are not sent to LinkedIn by this publishing feature.
Sharing and disclosure
Access to submitted information is limited to authorised people and service providers who need it for the purposes described in this policy. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to meet a legal obligation, protect rights or security, or respond to an authorised request.
Analytica does not sell personal information submitted through this website.
Retention
Gallery love and save choices remain in your browser until you remove them. Temporary intake-attempt records expire after the submission-control window.
Other information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant operational, security, administrative or legal purpose. The website does not promise a fixed period where an approved retention schedule has not yet been established.
Security
Analytica uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. These include access controls, validation, restricted administrative functions, security-oriented logging and controls intended to keep credentials and private records out of public website responses.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending credentials or information that is not needed for your enquiry.
Your choices and requests
You may ask about information you submitted, request a correction, request deletion where applicable or raise a privacy question. Use the Start a conversation route or email info@analyticaresearchhub.com. Analytica may need enough information to identify the relevant submission and verify the request before acting.
External links
This website links to publications, institutions, social pages and other external resources. Analytica does not control how an external site handles information. Review the privacy information provided by that service before sharing personal information with it.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, its providers or its information practices change. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
Contact
Privacy questions can be sent to info@analyticaresearchhub.com or raised through Start a conversation. The public contact address is Office 13, Oblate House, Kingsway Road, Maseru 100, Lesotho.
